MXR Shines at Media Fiesta 2010

MXR helped kick start the highly-anticipated Singapore Media Fiesta 2010 Official Launch with a spectacular display of Mixed Reality. With a grand countdown, Guest of Honour RADM Lui Tuck Yew and other VIPs spun the MXR wheel to officially launch the month-long media festival, revealing the Mixed Reality “Media Transformer” truck in a magnificent burst of 3D wizardry and special effects.

In his speech, Mr. Lui noted how New Media had drastically altered the media landscape around the world and urged pioneering Singaporean companies to move forward and “plant the flag” in this fledgling industry.

RADM Lui was then escorted first to the MXR booth, where Dr. Steven Zhou, CEO of MXR, explained the concept of Mixed Reality and introduced wIzQubes™ and wIzDirector™. RADM Lui and other dignitaries at the event were thoroughly entertained and impressed by MXR’s technology.

The Media Fiesta 2010 Launch was attended by numerous dignitaries, including Excellencies from the various foreign embassies in Singapore.

Each visitor to Media Fiesta 2010 receives a special brochure with an MXR marker printed on the back. Patrons can use the marker to experience MXR’s amazing Web3D™ platform straight from the comfort of their homes.
