wIzCards™ Platform Overview
wIzCards™ is a novel platform for information visualization and presentationa.
It is a highly revolutionary Mixed Reality application that uses a webcam and computer to let users - employing physical "markers" on the surface of a printed cards or page of a book - control animated virtual objects that can be seen in the "real" world on the computer screen. These animated virtual objects can even be programmed to interact with each other or the user's "real" environment. Mixed Reality thus provides a powerful and cost-effective interactive medium for education. It can also be used by other industries such as tourism, exhibition, games, retail, hospitality, military, etc.
The concept is to have a picture of a corporate logo, mascot or even the exhibit itself to be printed on an existing ticket or card. The user can then use this same card to interact with the virtual object via the wIzQubes™ Kiosk or even at the comfort of their own home if they have a webcam.
Visitors to corporate websites can also download the software and print an Adobe™ PDF™ format of the cards to interact with the product off their desire before committing purchase. This adds to the reinforcement of persuasive selling online and the company is able to monitor the traffic of the most visited product in their line of products. It is a highly valuable marketing and assessment tool for the company, and a novel way for the customer to experience the company's products.

The user first needs to buy a plot of land, the questioning will starts on screen and with each correct answer, the system will starts building level by level for the property. The user only needs to flip a card and show it to the webcam to make his choice of answers. The more questions answered correctly, the taller the building will gets. This type of user-interface is simple, intuitive and creates a “wow” factor to the audience. Description: A wIzCards-like game used as a global publicity vehicle for Cisco Systems. Users answer a series of questions about Cisco in a Mixed Reality environment to build buildings. Correct answers create a more advanced and developed city.
