Dr. Steven Zhou ZhiYing is the founder and director of MXR Corporation Pte. Ltd. In addition to his work with MXR, he is the professor at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Director of Interactive Multimedia Lab. He has focused more than 10 years of his research on Mixed Reality applications and he is the inventor of the patents that the company has licensed from NUS.

Dr. Zhou has strong experience in the commercialization of lab technologies. A language learning software  the software that Dr. Zhou developed 12 years ago, has been widely used to more than 100 universities and high schools in China. He has led numerous projects and received a series of highly prestigious prizes, awards, and publications for his innovative work in Mixed Reality.

Dr. Zhou is a true innovator. He was nominated for the "World Technology Award 2004" (by Microsoft, NASDAQ,TIME, CNN) in Education category. In 2004, He was elected to be the "Lifetime Fellow" of World Technology Network, in recognition of the long-term influence of his innovation in children's education category.

Being the director of the company, he has successfully secured several runs of local and international venture capitals and built up global partnerships. He is the key person in leading the commercialization of the world's first mixed reality children's educational product – wIzQubes™.
